R.H. Martin, JD, MSW has been a lawyer, counselor, and therapist for a combined thirty years. He has worked with people in times of their deepest crisis, and brings that experience to the writing of Children of Abraham.
Born of immigrant parents in Queens, New York, he grew up in the carnival atmosphere of amusement parks up and down the East Coast. Having been serendipitously introduced to law, he obtained his law degree in 1977 and later his Masters degree in social work.
He presently lives in North Carolina with his wife, Connie, and their Australian Shepard, Pookie. He has a son, Mike and a daughter, Kate. He continues to practice law, counseling, and to write.
