Con-Stanc has been formed to put into action the life goals of its principles, Bob and Connie Martin. At the present time Con-Stance is offering pro-bono services to non-profits, creating a community center in Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica and working towards the creation of a new formula for providing social services in less wealthy countries. Credentialed to do clinic work, duties include providing treatment for clients suffering from substance abuse by: assessing client needs and diagnosing according to DSM-IV criteria; developing treatment plans with the client and strategies for implementation; conducting individual, group and family counseling; conducting psycho-educational individual and group sessions;. In addition, because of fluency in Spanish, engaged in community outreach for Latinos, enhanced cultural sensitivity for clinical staff, developed intake procedures and facilitated process and psychotherapy groups in Spanish.
